I’ve always sought freedom An escape from the walls built around me I craved the hot sand underneath my feet And the chilly wind blowing on my face I longed to feel the wetness of the sea As I jumped and played with my friends But life never followed the wishes of man The outside world was not what I imagined This wasn’t the freedom I sought I now long to be back within my walls But it was too late I have slipped beneath the surface And now, with frantic thrashes and screams I drown Underwater.
